Cortez Journal’s Citizen of the Year-Citizen of the Year has made a significant contribution to the community quality of life through their involvement in any of a variety of community activities to include charity, youth, educational, patriotic, religious, or other like activity. This award may reflect current contributions or those made over a period of time.
